lt;p>First American edition, first printing hardcover copy of Matilda by Roald Dahl (Viking, 1988). An ex-library copy with heavy wear - including stamps to endpapers, tape/glue residue to boards and endpapers, and writing on fore edge of text block. Some staining to a handful of pages, mostly around the edges. Boards worn and torn at corners and where jacket was once taped down. Jacket was put in new archival sleeve but previously experienced heavy wear, especially around the edges which have some chipping and tears. Binding is loosening though hinges remain secure.
