It is not only chemical resistant, has exceptional strength and rigidity. ASA has a stable interlayer adhesion and features one of the best aesthetics possible with 3D printing. The finished product has a high gloss and is thermally stable to higher temperatures. And in fact, a high-temperature bed is necessary when printing with ASA because it helps to ensure a good grip. The shrinkage of ASA is around the same level as ABS, but the surface of models printed with ASA have a high gloss finish.
